“With the latest round of spam I’ve had to clean up on these forums, I’ve decided it’s finally time to close the curtain on the mod and the forums.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who played the mod and enjoyed it, and especially to you guys who made it here and actually talked about it. I poured a lot of myself into this mod and it makes me proud that I was able to provide you guys with something you enjoyed playing with as much as I did.

I haven’t talked to anyone else who contributed to Jaymod lately, but I’m sure they feel the same way. And I especially thank Mr.Mxyzptlk for his work on the mod. Not only did he add some major features and optimization, but he pushed me to do more and improve my coding as well.

If you’re wondering what I’ve been up to, it’s been much of the same. I played WoW for a long while but I’ve stopped playing that now as well. I guess SC2 might be my next big thing I’ve been waiting for a good team-based FPS but haven’t really found one. Who knows, you may just see another of my mods one day if I find one

I’ve marked the forums as read-only so that it will remain a resource for those seeking help. There’s a lot of good info here I’d hate to see go to waste, at least for now.”

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (also referred to as simply Enemy Territory, ET or WET) is a free multiplayer first-person shooter video game set during World War II. It was originally planned to be released as a commercial expansion pack to the popular FPS Return to Castle Wolfenstein and later as a standalone game. However, due to problems with the single-player aspect, the multiplayer portion was released on May 29, 2003 as a freeware standalone game. In early 2004 the source code for the game logic (not the game engine) was released to the benefit of its modding community. The game uses a modified RTCW engine, itself being a modified Quake III: Team Arena engine (which has been open-source since 2005).

Valentino was an all-around midfield playmaker who could direct the team, pass, score, tackle, defend, inspire and lead his teammates. history: reserved the Azzurri starting keeper Valerio Bacigalupo; otherwise it would have been the whole Grande Torino team playing for Italy. Legendary captain

Big “star” of the group was the leader Valentino Mazzola. The Head of Turin was a great player, with technical and physical skills beyond imagination. But his “nerve” was also affected, in some cases even for their own teammates. On 1947-48 season, the Torino was away, in Florence, but the team players refused to enter the stadium with Mazzola. Ultimately the ‘Grande Torino’ players lined up to pitch, but they had decided that their leader will not get a single pass. The answer of Mazzola? He returned to his defense, he took the ball himself and after pass anyone found in front of the opposing team, scored. The final whistle found the great Italian offensive in the hands of teammates: Apotheosis!.

On May 4, 1949, all except one player (who was out for an injury) of Grande Torino were killed when their plane crashed into the hills of Superga, on the outskirts of Turin.
